Launching Spring 2014 the Makerbot Replicator Z18 - 12 Jan 2014

With a larger build volume than traditionally seen from Makerbot the Replicator Z18 features a build size of 305 L x 305 W x 457 H MM. This Fifth generation machine builds upon Makerbots already succesful line up but allows users to increase their build volume.

Powered by the new, user-friendly Replicator 3D Printing Platform Makerbot state that the Smart Extruder is easy to swap or replace.

The Enclosed and heated build chamber is designed for printing large models with minimal curling allowing for an increased volume of 42,475 cm3 & hieght of 457mm, coupled with a superflat build plate for improved adhesion.

You can connect via USB, USB Stick, Wi-Fi or ethernet cable along with an innovative app that launches in the spring 2014 which allows you to monitor remotely through an inbuilt camera.
